Usually these cases are handled with minimal publicity because insurance can deny claim if someone did a wrong thing or say a wrong word. On the side of the manufacturer, they'll try very very hard to deny responsibility because if it's proven their fault, defects and such, insurance can deny and transfer liability to the manufacturer, which will plague the manufacturer's reputation in the long run.

It's usually see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, collect insurance money and close file. From the rumor mill, I heard for a Gen2 that got burnt, they get reinstated with a Perdana V6.. or Satria NEO that get burnt, they get a Satri GTI full spec.. :13: There are also cases where owner itchy hand did unauthorised rewiring for ICE purposes and wrong wire was tapped.. don't ask and dowan to know..

Bomba investigators know what not to write.. and the victim better play along if he wants to get his insurance claim :4:

If stock standard then its a puzzle but if additional electrical/electronic accessories add-on done, it could be the culprit.
