There are many orphans or less fortunate student do not have the opportunity to explore the world of photography unlike us hence I have started a personal campaign to collect old digital compact cameras for the purpose. If you have one that is collecting dust in your storeroom I hope you can donate it to the project. Objective :To allow more less fortunate/orphanage age between 12-18, its also to allow our children of the similar age to make new friends and learn the fundamentals of photography during the class. DATE : Since its a fresh idea so I have yet to have any date . VENUE : I will use my office as a start SIZE : 6 - 8 maximum per sessionFUNDING: Volunteers and Donation Transport: I have a VIOS and CI hence can carry max 6 per trip. I welcome all to help from all, no matter whats your level of knowledge in photography. Am not a pro photographer too but just for the love of 'capturing lights '

Well done AS. A very good gesture on ur part. Will join to help set up cos experience only with point and shoot.

AS, I have a Fujiflim DSLR bought in UK dated back in 2003. Hence of the small quality in term of the picture resolutions i.e. 3.2 MP only. It's quite old but it's still in perfect working condition (tested 2 months ago). Everything is intact and I even have all the original accessories (CD, manual, micro SD card, USB cable, lens hood, etc) that came with the box (and YES, I still have the box :) ). I would like to donate it to your campaign for good use if you don't mind. You can collect it from me anytime (together with the plastic dip :) ).

Sure bros, will keep you updated.

At the meantime if you have any ideas do feel free to share.

What we need now is to identify those students who are keen in photography and need this tutorial and camera

You are most welcomed. This is the least I can do to help you for the good course. As you said, instead of collecting dust, might as well donated it for good use. Am fortunate enough to make good use of the camera before, and now its the time for others to enjoy it. I have a Canon 400D full kit (again, everything with BOX) bought in 2007 which I plan to put up on sale for a month. If the item is not sold by then, I might consider to donate it to your campaign as well. Lets see what comes up after a month time.
