Hi, all, what do u think of our petrol price?:eek: Benarkah harga petrol dikira begini? Kalau betullah cara kira kos petrol begini... memang rakyat malaysia di tipu hidup-hidupPrice petrol per barrel worldwide = USD60.00Processing fees per barrel = USD10.00PRICE IN TOTAL PER BARREL = USD70.00 (Exchange rate: USD1.00 = RM3.70)Means: USD70.00 x RM3.700 = RM259.00 per barrel (in total)Note: 1 barrel = 200 Liters... Kira balik... RM259.00 ÷ 200 Litres = RM1.295 (per Liter) per litre is only RM1.295 and not RM1.92... No such thing as gov subsidy... RM60 for petrol and the possessing fees is fixes worldwide... Think my fren...
 
Its still dirt cheap here compared to other parts of the world. I floor it whenever i can.
 
need to consider the hidden price for the processing as well.....compare to others country sure we still in low price but sakit juga lorrr....every year rise mati la...other thing start rise as well

Only USD10.00 per barrel to distill crude oil into petrol? Hmmm, can anybody confirm this cost of refining oil into different grades of fuel (tar, diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, petrol, cooking gas, etc)?
 
Sorry lah. What about profit margin? transportation cost from refinery to petrol station? and not to mention that the petrol station also want to make some money as well. Import duties and royality tax. so many hidden cost.

Not too mention the fat bonus cheques, the golden parachutes etc etc etc :rolleyes:
 
1 barrel contains crude oil not petrol..
have to process..mau untung lagi..
we r lucky that our petrol is cheaper compared to other country
bottom line is we malaysians still can afford the petrol..
thats why i can see many of us still 'flooring' most of the time
 
I'm not a petroleum engineer but I don;t think u can get liter perliter from crude to patrol, can u?

How about the transportation cost?

DOn;t get me wrong, I think petronas is sucking the contry dry while the goverment is sucking us dry.
 
or otherwise they can follow some of the european country and by not fixing the fuel price....the price with followed the global crude oil price. At least we know that we paying for the exact amount without feeding anyone:p :p :p
 
Yalor, shouldn't calculate like that. Then maggie mee goreng at the mamaks should cost 1 packet maggie mee+2 sayur+1 egg+half tofu = RM0.80???
 
Oil prices have dropped in recent weeks. I dont see any revision to fuel prices at the pump or at the mamaks, etc. Heck, even SQ is reducing their flight surcharges but i dont see MAS following suit. :(
