I've heard 2 very distinct noises on startup recently, especially in the morning or when the car has cooled down. 1) First, when car starts from "cold", there's this a sound of a pump going over drive? potential oil pump for the enginer oil???? 2) Secondly, there's this sound pretty much like a dynamo. Remember those days when as a kid, our bikes were fitted with a dynamo ligh bump which made a noise everytime you use the bike? Both those sounds will go away once the car warms up or when I've driven it for a couple of minutes. Signs of somthing giving way soon???? Ken.</p></blockquote><p></p>
