The rims, paint, ICE and HID are of course extra. While the car wasn't modded, there is really no need to change what is inherently correct. The weight distribution and hence, balance, is spot-on. Everything else falls into place. Especially with the 2.8 litre M52.  Flexible, responsive and super smooth, this  powerplant never fails to impress when you’re in the mood. And when you're not, the generous low-end torque makes town driving even more of a cinch. Together with excellent NVH control, solid (but heavy) construction and ok build quality (we're talking mid-90s here), this car is an amazingly accomplised all-rounder. Being an automatic though, I could never really warm up to it. It was frustrating knowing the potential thanks to the ever-eager engine, balanced (but not tight) handling and enormous grip. After a couple of hairy experiences attempting to downshift manually on the usual country route, I wrote off the automatic, and maybe the car a little, on that day. At the extreme (in SIC), the car is no fun for me. Its heavy. 100% urban (i.e within Klang Valley) driving just didn't make sense. I didn't really need the capacity in the city. I stopped driving the car on what little outstation trips I did in any case - the tickets were coming a bit too often. Consumption was fair though. Full, 400km.</p></blockquote><p></p>
