Newbie Owner of 328i (1996)

Hi all,I've just bought a used BMW 328i year 1996. Its my FIRST car and I have gone through a LOT of deliberations and discussions with myself (basically arguing with my own decisions) and peers regarding what to get for my first car as I have a limited budget and I do not want to tie up in long loan periods.Now that I have gotten my UDM, suddenly been getting a lot of flak from peers mostly saying I am so ambitious or pretentious of getting a beemer as a first car and so on. Anyhow, I know they are just bitter and jealous of not driven a UDM before and that they are dying to sit in my UDM. :laugh:So hope I can get all the necessary info and help from fellow forumers to help iron out any problems that will definitely appear in my 15 year old ride.Cheers~ :top:

Hi fellow CONsultant. Welcome to the forums!

Don't worry, your colleagues don't know their myvis can buy two e36s . Tell them that and they will say "but maintenance not expensive meh?".

Any car at 15 years old will have wear and tear parts that need to be replaced and that includes myvis too. But stick around, gain some inside info in this forum and you'll find that maintenance might not be as expensive as you think it is.

Which CONsultancy are you with by the way ?
