Newbie from Kuantan - Pls advice me

Salam and Hi all :hello::hello:Need uols advise. I'm not a bimmer owner yet, but considering to buy one. Got offered from my brother's friend, 318i E90 2004 at price RM96k. My brother's friend won a tender by Kastam (this is what he told la).This car is imported, but not sure from which country. I try to find the forum thread on 318i E90, but not many discussing about this model. What you guys say?? :help::help:

Hi bro,

Welcome to the forums. If I'm not mistaken, Malaysia doesn't sell the E90 318i, the smallest we have is the 320i. Our neighbours up north and down south do have the 318i though.

I went for few custom tender before, the cars condition are bad. Unless u don't mind to rebuild the car, otherwise i suggest u stay away.

From what i know, normally custom hold the car for investigation for 2 or 3 years (may be longer) before they release to tender. They park the car under the sky no matter sun or moon within the period. Imagine what would be the condition? I even saw the prestige cars (7 Series and S Class) in custom place with lost of the buttons and handle. No doubt the price is much more lower than market price in the starting tender price. May be u have a luck to get a good condition one.
