My, my, all this high praise for the GTi. The only reason why they made it so good was directly due to the Civic R, Focus RS and other 200hp plus hatches. Otherwise, they'd probably continue trying to live off the "original" GTI tag (which belongs to the Alfasud, actually) while passing off overweight uninspired crap (see MK IV GTI especially, which was even blasted by the Yanks of all people!)Why don't you guys test drive an EP3 or DC5 R also lah....
