Message: <blockquote data-quote="teejay" data-source="post: 220984" data-attributes="member: 51">double clarify on that clutch set for you, 260 getrag came with few variations, single mass, doublemass and twin massflywheels ,each of these had different lengths of slave pump and if you are lucky enough you may even be sporting the 260G from the 323i, has a shorter bellhousing, lightweight-4kg less-and but all qualities of the heavier 260g from the 325i  e.g. if your original clutch came with twinmass, your slave pump would be short, then if you replaced with a clutch kit from a single mass or doublemass, the length would of the slave pump may just clear the pressure plate, thus the low clutch feeling, and short clutch release, and no twinmass and doublemass are not the same even if some people say it is......    you need to double check part numbers and see which models the clutch set is made for to solve your problem, you may need to source a longer shaft slave master, its not easy, or if your luck holds, try and get the bigger slave pump from the older e23, your clutch wil feel like feather:rock:</blockquote>
