Jerman, It did not lighten my pocket. It actually burned a hole in my pocket. Banyak Makan Wang is not a joke and very true. Repair bills after one month or so are as follows: RM 2/2/10 Safety test 133.75 20/2/10 Clutch fan, labour, etc 2,531.71 New battery 1,348.52 ATF plus labour 717.65 Washer pump hose, etc 277.87 13/3/10 Fuel pump, filter, sensor, etc 2,450.61 Replace high tone horn 135.50 PDC sensor, etc 552.24 TOTAL 8,147.85 I have heard b4 that one need to spend RM5,000 - RM7,000 to bring a second hand BMW to good condition. I hope from now I can start to enjoy the ride. One word of advice for would-be buyers of second hand BMW car. If a second hand car dealer quote you a figure for the car, make sure you bargain and reduce the price by around RM10K. Luckily, I did that. Btw, can someone recommend me some BMW specialist workshops in the vicinity of Subang Jaya who are reputable and can do a good job at reasonable prices, please.
