Hi all Sifu out dere, I'm pretty new on this site as I just own a 318i E46 2002 facelift model Bimmer (Automatic Transmission). Can anyone guide me on what type of coolant should I use? Also I can't seem to find any point to top up or check my power steering fluid. :p

Use original BMW oiriginal coolants to be on the safe side bro. Some other coolants are not suitable. BMW coolants actually lubricates all the cooling systems components in the engine such as the water pump, and also other coolants are not phosphate free. BMW coolants are formulated to not corrode the plastic or rubber parts of the cooling system, which in turn will prolong the life of your radiator. Non-BMW coolant allows an increased build up of sludge in the cooling system that can and will cause blockages of the narrow passages the coolant flows through.

Power steering fluid check, look for this bottle. Refill with ATF DEXRON II or DEXRON III, refer to your owners manual for which is recommended.
