took delivery of my new 520d last week and immediately felt vibration on the steering wheel and interior cabin above 100kmh. Took it back to dealer the following day. Technician says it's not too bad and he's experienced worst. I told him I won't take this shit especially not from a new car. It was slightly better after Tyres were re-balanced but still felt some vibration at >100kmh. Called up GY voice and they advised me to send back to BMW for a tyre balancing report. I told them off and insisted that I've done that, tyres were rebalanced and I'm still having issues. I insisted that I wanted to send it in directly to them for a full inspection. They finally obliged and referred me to an authorized warranty dealer for a full inspection. The results, 3 tyres were found to be uneven above the allowable margin of 0.6mm. Readings of 0.8 to 1.2mm were recorded. They had no stock of GY excellence and the outlet manager manage to get them to agree to a full 100% compensation for all fours for another tyre with price top up for any difference. I promptly took continental premium contact 2 rft with a top up of $120 per tyre. Now, it's way much better than the crap GY excellence. the tyres are rather soft and not properly run in yet, so I'll give it some time. Anyway, have plans to charge them to 18 inchers eventually when I've found the rims I want
