For the E60 I think only the 530d available locally bro.

Swirl flap should be removed if it hasn't been done. For grey imported model, the diesel particulate filter should also be removed.

525d quite rare, but the 530d is sweeeettt...
Da turbo unit must in good order, all 6 injectors too, water system...etc. Check front suspension for wear, as the diesel engine is quite heavy. Some previous owners would have neglected the gearbox service routines...

Most importantly, get any potential cars that you intend to buy to be plugged in with diagnostics tool, many infos will be
revealed there :tee:
