It is said that BMW from 2008 introduced new car HD multimedia named CIC to replace olde After replacing the Car Information Computer (CIC). And my car is 05' x5. So can I replace the multimedia? I found the BMW CIC emulator, this is a little chip thing. How can I add this emulator installation inside CIC unit? Anybody deal with this stuff?

this CIC retrofit kits can work with more models than the CIC emulator I found can only support E82, E88 *(1 Series) and E90, E91, E92, E93 *(3 Series)
CIC retrofit is such a whole package. Is it necessary to get the DVD main unit repalce?
and I wonder that will these three enabling codes supply by CIC retrofit kits?
CIC Navigation Enabler Release Code (to activate Release Code functionality)
CIC Navigation Application Release Code (to activate the navigation function)
CIC Voice Repair Release Code (to activate voice control SA620)
