Woke up this morning to drive the 3251 and realized cold start idling is pretty erratic. Decided to do a test run and realized there are plenty of hesitation & jerk at the low end. First thought is that must be 1 of the ignition coil went bust. Plugged in INPA and walla, confirmed to be cylinder 5 misfiring. (Happen to be the same used coil that was replaced 2 weeks ago :(). Rushed to BA SS2 (didn't expect them to open on public holiday) and got all 6 Bosch ignition coils at RM82 each (surprisingly good price). Physically, the new coils looked different as they came with rubber cover/protection compared to old original ones which are bare metal. As regular mech is closed for the public holiday, decided to DIY. Due to the lack of experience and confidence, decided to pay bro IceDuke a visit for his advice and supervision. Sifu really got all the tools ready and spent a mere 30 minutes for the job. Get to save some $$$$$ on labour. However, realized most of the plugs tip were wet with engine oil. Bad sign meaning this would require replacement of valve cover gasket. Shall do this on next visit to mech. Once done, went a drink and regular talk cock sing song session led us to Kepong for a impromptu visit for "Projek 325". :P
