Hi Puss, Is the seat that heavy ?. I maybe be 5-11 in height and only 142 lbs but I remembered lifting the seat out myself before!. Its heavy but one person is Ok to get it out. The only bastard is the front catch that makes it harder to unhook without bending the backrest way forward before trying to tilt the seat forward to unhook the two catch there. ONce out, its clear how things work and just proceed to curing the problem. Putting the seat back is another problem to get the front 2 catches to clip on. Again, tough but after a struggle, it got seated and the seat bolted ok. My touiring has manual seats and I only missed the electric forward/backwards adjustment to get the right reach for my pedals. The rest of the tilt and backrest is OK. Oh, also the headrest up/down on manual seat is a pain but set only once.
