[QUOTE="Eggie86, post: 587080, member: 16239"] A couple of updates. Last Friday night, took the car out during the heavy downpour, then when the rain almost subsided, guess what happened? My left wiper actually broke. As in the whole damn metal arm just broke! Not the wiper blade, but the arm itself! Saw the huge crack on the wiper arm, and it broke cleanly, leaving the part where the arm is bolted to the engine bay intact... Wow. First time I actually encountered a case of wiper arms disintegrating. :p Now currently driving with only the driver side functioning [thank goodness!], and am waiting for mechanic to source for replacement. Tried calling few places and chop shops for E32 left side wiper arm, but they're out of stock. Some even suggested using modified E34/36 arm... I think I only need the part which is screwed to the body itself. Bavarian Auto quoted RM400++ for the left side. Goodness! Anyways, reached a milestone yesterday - 260,260 miles covered. Almost 419K kms.
