It was waay above market price so I "reluctantly" parted with her .  After shortlisting few candidates & talking to my mechanics , got myself a humble 1st model E46 , M43 engine - one of key selection criteria as the engine & gearbox is well known for their robustness , suitable for my daily communute .  The car had been quite nicely done up by the previous owner ( well , at least to my taste ) , except for the 19" staggered rims which i think is a little overboard - however , the acceleration & FC is not as bad as I imagined it would be .
