Pull your handbrake, make sure your car won't move and pull the knob all the way down to "1" and you'll see it there. Unscrew it and pull the knob upwards. From the picture, it's a T-shaped knob (pre-96 models). You can change to other T-shaped knobs which are available in the market. They've got many designs, M logo, BMW logo, kayu design, brushed aluminium design etc. Bear in mind, they're all T-shaped like the existing one. Check mudah.my or ebay.comBut if you want to change to the straight up type, you've got to change the shifter arm.
