my E28

i just intro in newbies section..read through all the post here for some time d so i think mux intro 1st b4 asking any help from all the experts here..i am planing to change my E28 auto 520i to 24V engine n manual transmission..so i think the best is to get a halfcut E34 520i and it comes with a manual gearbox..so i wanna know how much all this cost?i am still a student..was planning to get E30 cuz pertol comsumption same like wira but i dun like wira..always crazy for bmw even no money..lol..so now i dun have enough money to get a E30 318i so plan to repair my E28 by converting it to 24V manual..my E28 at the moment is uder power..top speed also 120 only..should at least reach 160 man..n pick up also prob..dunno is it cuz auto..but no matter wat i do not wan auto right now so plan to change to manual..n my tappet is making loud noise plus water pump also gonna spoile soon as i can feel is given burden to the engine n giving some noise too.originally this 12V engine also quite makan minyak so since d so many prob i plan cahnge straight to the 24V n manual gearbox..any idea how much it cost?i think i would need a half cut E34 right?how much it cost?and E28 the rear brake is drum but the se model is dics..where can i get the dics to convert my drum?thank u for those who are willingly to help me out.thanks!

Bro it will cost you around RM10k which is half cut and the labour to install it. Part are not included.

if i only want a half cut for E34 24V?how much it cost?if labour so expensive then i will prefer do it my self..anyway redbaron thank u so much for ur info.

sorry ya i still new wat u mean by M20?anyway ur engine is 2.5 rite?cant really afford that so looking for 2.0..and if i only get engine bit hard rite..is it the best is to get a half cut E34 24V 520i with a manual gearbox?because i need the wiring also if i convert the engine rite?and the computer rite?so better get half cut?am i rite?i not very sure also..thanks for replying me!

M20 2.5 it is same engine like yours but it is 2500cc. Yours is M20 2.0

then how to tell which is 24V n which is 12V?my E28 now 12V so i wan a 24V..
if can i wan a 2.0 cc
i plan to convert it to manual also..so better get a half cut rite?
a E34 half cut with manual gearbox and is 24V will be the rite choice rite?
