Since your car has been repainted, this means you clear coat should be thicker than OEM. So what you can do is 1. Spot sanding to remove bad scratches 2. Compound with M85 Diamond Cut Compound 2.0 + Wool pad 3. Medium polish to remove swirls caused by compound with M83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish + Polishing pad. 4. Finishing polish to achieve high gloss paint with M83 Swirl Free Polish + Finishing Pad. 5. LSP of your choice. You can even top with Kit Wax after step 4 because it has been prep properly. The only thing is Kit wax doesnt lasts :D. For me, finished off with M21 except for the rooftop with Soft 99 Fusso Coat. Fusso Coat can last for 3/4 months :D Great water beading capability! If you want to go extreme, do dry sanding first to remove orange peel
