Suspected faulty thermostat and/or coolant temp sensor.Changed both and the aux fan no longer kicks in at full speed, even when idling. Have not had the chance to take the car for a drive yet as I have the exhaust off waiting for parts to come in but I think the issue is solved.Read on a few forums that the coolant temp sensor is not very reliable and should be changed at every coolant flush (2 years)</blockquote>
