Third party steering,you need the bosskit then only can fix to the car.If you change to other car's bosskit,then you can fix to other car.Correct if I'm wrong.

Its the adapter to fit the steering onto your column. That's called the steering boss. It's just like and adapter to mount a recaro seat onto various cars.
