Otherwise the paint won't last long (means it is easily peel off). I used to have a pail of marine primer before given to me as a sample by the supplier. It is very very good compare with the ordinary primer especially with regards to rust even though it is a water base primer. The sticker will peel off once the paint peel off cause the adhesive only stick to the paint.Once again, it is just my 2 cents</blockquote>
