Anyone tried the new A-Class from the carmaker in Stuttgart?
i think, power wise, a170 feels similar to previous a160.. interior, exterior, handling and ride more refined though.. at 175k, definitely worth considering.. btw, u might want to wait for a200 or a190d and compare then.. hope this helps..

vicky from fifth gear did put in good words about da cars... saying da build quality is just as good as da top of the range Mercedes SL

Checked out the new A class today at 1 Utama where C&C was having some roadshow there. The new A is bigger than cars like the Jazz, Toyota ist, etc. Its a beautiful car, well built, black interior and aluminium trims etc. The high spec AG even comes with panoramic roof which should be really nice. My wife likes it a lot and I think it'll be yet another cute chick magnet car...

The one come with Panaromic sunroof price is Rm 193,888. other than the sunroof, it also come with 2 electrical seat and 8 airbags.

The standard Avantgarde spec price is Rm 178,888. No sunroof, no electric seat and 4 airbag only.

Personally i think the Standard Avantgarde is good enough already.....just 2 thing extra....have to pay extra for Rm 15k. Sigh......and the best thing about this car is the.....GEARBOX!!!!

This time they are using CVT Gearbox.....which is run 7 Speed and Jerk-less gear change.....something like Honda car lar.....but overall......WORHT TO BUY. Hehehehhe....

yeah.. but can be lifeless at times.. for the wifey/as 2nd car, superb... :D

Test drove the A170 recently... must say that i was quite impressed with it... It's really an A-to-B car for those who want the image of driving an MB, and doesn't really care about driving dynamics etc. A very rational purchase indeed!
