Hello there all,Ok, i read somewhere that the M52 intake manifold and throttle body was restricted (smaller) in some form. This was becoz BMW had to comply with ommission, insurance, tax rulings of some sort (something like that la, if i'm not mistaken). The M50 intake manifold and throttle body on the other hand is bigger and provides better flow and is a direct bolt-on to the M52...My questions for sifus here is...1) How easy a modification is this really??2) Is it easy to source the M50 hardware mentioned?? where??3) How much RM RM??4) What else has to be done?? Is a remap/rechip required??5) Is it a worthwhile mod??6) Any other insights/views/comments??TQ

Just in brief, you swap in the 325 intake manifold on your 328, it comes with the same size throttle body as a 328. You will need to fabricate some brackets to make it fit. I hear you can buy one 2nd hand for around 350-400 ringgits. It does give you more top end, but you will loose some low down torque especially with an auto box. I like it and with a few mod, you can get around 220bhp, easy. Check out www.e36coupe.com for more details. Good luck.
