Is performance diff? and in which model does it orginally comes?

I believe this is the stock diff from a 318i... Most probably open diff..
You can't get a LSD at this price...

hi there how do i confirm whether it is free play, if the unit still in a car.

Taken off from my car. Lying on the floor at my home.. prior swapping my 4.10 diff, my mech did test it and confirmed there's no free play.. even while driving with it, i dont feel any free play..
