CALLING FOR SIFU TEE JAY! please share ur vast knowledge as well. Thanks everybody...

coz he's crazy.......

you got the fuel tank wrong, pre-88 don't come with 63L, only 55L

you forgot to add the fuel pressure measurements

you forgot to add the brake pad thickness

haha

thanks kelvin and TJ

fuel tank wrong? sorry bro..got it off an e30tech article.

anyway...anywebsite can detect exact engine cc when put in the vin number?
real oem doesnt give the engine cc

thanks again :)

U can work out the engine capacity if you know what the bore and stroke is:

eg
m20b23 is 80.0mmx76.8mm, or 8.0cmx7.68cm

pi x r-squared x stroke x no of cylinders.

3.14159 x 4x4 x7.68 x 6 = 2316.23 cc or near enough 2316 cc

Hi, between L-Jetronic and Motronic, which is a better engine and easier for maintenance? Kindly advice :)

non of the above......

Ljet and Motronic are the systems used as fuel management, the engine remains the same except for minor ignition parts which can be swaped between the 2 systems, but parts of each system remains solely for a particular system, i.e. AFM for Ljet is different from Motronic

Ljet is more of a mechanical system, easier to tweak and remedy and traceable
Motronic is more refined and one-step system, tweaking will have to be done in DME/chip, easier for some, difficult for others

each has its own advantages and disadvantages

if you want to know more, try this....

SEARCH.....

Appreciate for the reply!

Hmm....now should i look for a 4-pack or 6-pack engine...:)
