Message: <blockquote data-quote="Redd" data-source="post: 78795" data-attributes="member: 200">ozone, it really doesnt matter what type of oil u use. its more important that u check ur oil regularly, and before u go on ur trips. for all u know, u might have a leaky oil seal (old engine) and when u started out the engine was already near to dry. always check ur oil before heading out on a long distance/high speed run, regardless if its 1 week old or 1 day old.that said, if u do drive hard/fast often, its a good idea to invest in synthetic oil. it withstands high heat environments better and doesnt break down as quickly under extreme conditions.good luck! be sure to clean out ur radiator and coolant hoses of oil before filling it up again.redd</blockquote>
