I had the auto transmission temperature sensor changed 1st November and have NOT had the problem since. This fault with the temperature sensor was picked up by my mechanic a long time back but he said that a faulty temperature sensor will not affect the functioning of the transmission, as it only picks up temperature reading, which kinda made sense to me. Hence that is why I was looking at other areas for the cause i.e. drive shaft. So the thing I learnt is never dismiss any fault in troubleshooting problems, especially if it is electronics related.</p></blockquote><p></p>
