Good selection of tires is allways your first start also... change any other part, but if you don't have good traction it all doesn't matter.also note what is good on one type of car is not always good on another.My E36 seems to like Toyo tires, but they may not be the best on E46, depending on car weight, steering variances, wheel base Etc.Just my 2 cents
