I thing i hv learnt is that your car should never fail you during CNY, only yesterday manage to get it repaired. Went to Bavarian Auto Works Sdn Bhd just before the damansara toll plaza as ths the only one open and some good recommendation. The boss was not around except his nephew that was in charge that day. After thorogh inspection found out the leaking water pump was the main culprit as we also found that the radiator and thermostat shown sign of leaking. Decided to replace all the faulty items. As for the lost of power...... phew it was just the crankshaft sensor failure (oh yes not gasket failure huhu) Also check the whistling sound at the back which happened occasionally and luckily the sound came again after few minutes. Found out that the fuelpump (located under the passenger seat) is the cause and should be replaced. Since its quite late decided to KIV the replacment. Total cost of repairs are as follow: water pump - RM 160 radiator - RM850 Thermostat (with housing) - 69 crankshaft sensor _ rm250 Labour - RM120 Coolant - RM 42 Total - RM1591 and minus Kong He Fatt Choi discount of RM 41; final total RM 1550 So the rabbit year started with digging a hole in a pocket.
