The mechanic there recommended that I also do the timing belt (I was under the impression that the I6 would have a chain?) and - being an Alfa owner - the sweat started to come out. Turns out the E34 timing belt set is bleeding cheap! Something like RM80 for the belts, and RM50 for each bearing? Is that right?! The Alfa belts are orders of magnitude pricier, and even the Proton belts cost more!
