Looking for E30 dashboard

If somebody happen to know the chop shop that have E30 dashboard/ somebody have it , please PM me....I'm not from KL, so I cannot go to one chopshop after another..trip after trip to KL..just not enough time/ wasting money...so I need members help I'm thinking (?) of doing my firewall and replacing my cracked dash board..so 2 in 1 laa...jimat sikit... afterall in order to weld the firewall, dashboard has to take out...why thinking? coz I don't know where to do it..can somebody help me with this? cheers...

Found one dashboard, still on the halfcut,very nice condition(no crack at all) but asking price is RM1k...is it too much?

once a upon a time, i was offered, or i offered to buy a dashboard from a forummer at 600........after a few days he changed his tune, said he didnt wanto sell as he didnt know what colour to paint his car-which was at that moment in the paint shop( who in the right mind would send a car in without knowing what color to paint....) he said he had 2 dashboards, a grey color and a black color, and he could not decide which one to use for his car......
i think the guy got a crack in his head or the dashboard.......

i got to know later he sold it for 200 more to another sucker......

moral of the story.........dont bother to get a dashboard, it will crack sooner or later, or else you will get cracked up as you will be spoilt for choices.....

go to a upholstery shop get a fabric cover, or better still, get it re-upholstered with leather.......

Since there's already an existing thread on this topic I thought I'd revive it since I'm also facing the same problem.

My dash has a large gash on the upper center and lots of splits above the instrument cluster. In looks like Freddy Kreuger had a fun day with it (along with my interior, but that's a different story). It looks like crap.

Checked with Auto Bav and was quoted around RM4k for a new one. Too expensive for me.

So I went looking for Wecolor in Subang and found out that they're no longer there. Calling them also produced a negative result. Their existing place is now a workshop although their sign is still up. Some fella there said that they may have tutup kedai. So much for that.

So to cut a long story short...HELP!!

I heard some parallel importers sell a new one less than auto bav's price (around 1.5 to 2k, dunno how true is that).

I was once told that you can order a new one from auto bavaria for around 1.6k...dunno true or not...will have to check it out myself.
