I know this is a chronic problem with e30, e32 and e34 headlamps, water gets into the driving lights due to poor gasket sealing, driving into a pond or over-zealous cleaning/spraying....White lines on the glass is literally washed away. The white lines are actually some sort of powdery substance that supposed to focus the light beam. My question is are the white lines really necessary (or can i do without them) and if they are important, how can i get them back. :dunno:
