Hi guys

Had my car polished the other day at one of those car wash areas. Was quite impress with the results. the surface felt smoother and when it rains you can see the water beads flowing just like applying Raix-X to your windscreen. I did the glass polish too. Actually this was my first time. Lesson learnt - get those reverse and front sensors celotaped in future polish jobs. After polishing, the sensors went crazy for a while. Initially regretted doing the job and was thinking of going to SC for resetting -but after a few engine start-ups, the sensors are back to normal. So remember to get those sensors sealed in case you want to polish your car.

cheers

Have to watch out when you send for wash too. Some noobs can have the waterjet spray noozle set to shoot at the sensors and will cause it to go bonkers for a while too. Seriously do not recommend for that to happen often else you'll end up with faulty sensors.
