Do you have some basic tool like torx key? To removed the odometer need some skill. if you don't have it, then leave it to specialist. For DIY, try this. 1. Removed the battery terminal from the battery. 2. Remove the front panel on the steering wheel by removing two torx key at the back of the steering wheel. 3. Removing the steering after you have unscrew the bolt. Mark the position of the steering by drawing a line so you you will know where to alignment back the steering when you complete the work. Note. There is a long ribbon cable to the air bag connection. You can actually "unwind" it to set aside the steering wheel. 4. After you have removed the steering, you can unscrew another 2 torx screw at the top of the instrument cluster. 5. Use a flat screw driver and try to prises out the instrument cluster. Note ; Do not pull the instrument cluster too far out as there are some 3 cables connected at the back. 6. You need to unlatch the clip in order to release the cable connector. If I am not mistaken there should be 3 connector at the back. Warning. If you disconnected the airbag cable with removing the battery, you will end up with a SRS alarm. In that case you will need to reset with a modic. tips. If you want to test the instrument cluster, remember to connect the SRS cable back to the steering wheel before you conduct the test. of course connect back the battery as well. good luck :ok:
