Launching of Mini Convertible

Some of us attended tonight's launching of the Mini Convertible at an obscure warehouse in Glenmarie. It was an elaborate affair with loads of great food (oysters and all) and free flow champagne. I had 4 vodka shots from 2 elaborate funky decorated bars. I was also glad to meet familiar friends from this forum including koryong, whl a.k.a. mazin, puss and fabian's friend, Marina. The best car event I attended by far even compared to Smart Car and facelifted C-Class launch. To top it up, there was a deejay competition playing up funk and groove renditions. Superb nite! and cos of this I gave Zouk's anniversary nite a miss!!

:yes!: too bad I went alone not knowing that you are there and others that maybe I still in the lost zone could not recall who and who I have met sorry for that JP. I was looking around hoping to meet any members but fail and left at 10pm did'nt even take any food. alone thats the case lost lah..

aduh! I'm so sorry to hear that!! That's why it's so important to have the new Club shirts in place. Didchu at least have a good look at the convertible Cooper S, esp the interior! Damn nice, rite?

Fabs!!! The gals (but mostly guys) were to die for, seriously! To think that I had so much fun and alcohol for no cost, well it was worth going (sorry to rub it in). The door gifts seem pretty good too. It's a heavy bag which I'm yet to open! Keep you updated!

I was there at around 7.00 pm but left at around 7.40 pm. Was rushing to KLIA after that. I had a look at Cooper-S conv. and sit inside, awesome but I think prefers the hardtop. Hopefully can get my Hyper Blue Cooper-S by next week.

Nothing much in the bag, John. Some literature, a "Mini" bottle opener which serves more as a decor and (check this out) .... a "Mini" kite .... :dunno: The paper bag itself is very cool, though.

Very happening nite, I must agree. They served drinks & little hors-d'oeuvres all nite and before you know it, you're full ! ..... And tipsy .... Very relaxed "chill out" kind of evening, which was exactly their theme.
