My mechanic charged RM150 for labour to do an ATF flush for my E39. Never mind the labour charged but the mechanic said there was a need for programming and that is why the 150 bill, all-in. I am doubtful. Can anyone help clarify this need for programming in an ATF flush? I mean is there such a need?

Yes i heard before the mech say he need to reset the gearbox ecu, or maybe reprogram .........not too sure wat is this for

it all depends on the mechanic's or the service center polices to charge or free..
