We are deeply concern about the safety of all especially the newbies. Here I quote some important notes for all to digest to keep the drive safe:3. Watch out for each other, the one in front, as well as the one at the back, just like kindergarten students going for field trips, they hold hands. If u see the one behind is falling back, u should slow down, that will alert the car in front to slow down as well because he too will be managing the gap in between u and him. "Watch out" also mean try to spot unusual object flipping and flapping on each others car, while admiring their ride in motion. I managed to spot XXX's flapping loose bottom shield in last year's Singapore drive, John'J's dangling external thermo sensor in the front wheel arch and Bongyt2's peeling rear tyre in the last Ulu Yam drive.4. When u lose sight of the car at the back. Switch on hazard light and pull over at the next junction to make sure the next car when they arrive, they know where to turn. Not to worry because the car before u, will do the same at the next junction before u.5. Overtaking the lead car means u on your own. I don't mind people doing that because some may want to stretch their legs but try to fall back into the convoy after u had enough fun, especially when preying on some arrogant road user who think their car is powderful.. <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite7" alt=":p" title="Stick Out Tongue    :p" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":p" />6. Every convoy must have at least a lead car and a sweeper to keep the convoy together. All participants must get hold of lead car's contact number and sweeper must contact lead car should any car fail. Convoy can continue but new sweeper must be assigned while the original sweeper has to stay back and help out on the fail car. Some technically sounded or equipped sweeper is always useful.7. In my convoy, I don't mind participant overtaking each other or test power with each other. Meaning after u over take, the car that follows u just now is leaded by the car u just overtaken. This allow the participant trail and to be trailed by different cars so they get to admire different members car along the journey. Less boring mah. As long as everyone understand this concept, the covnoy still in tact. Its actually like sorting out a pecking order. When there's newbie in the convoy, put them at the back, before the sweeper so the sweeper can gauge their car's stability, cornering line and driver's skill to pace the convoy speed. Sweeper must not let the newbie overdrive. It takes time for some to follow a high speed convoy. All must trust each other and if there's an uncertain newbie in between, its very dangerous, too all! Especially newbie with a high power car but never drive faster than 140kph.9. Please also pass around each other's contact just in case, walkie talkie would be ideal.This list can get very long and there's new thing to learn on every drive, that's what makes it fun!
