On the last run, we left S'ban R&R at about 6:45AM and turned off PLUS at Ayer Hitam at 8AM. There was only 5 cars so it was quite manageable going high speed, at some stretches, more than twice the legal speed limit... That's the beauty of early morning drive. After 8AM, the chances of the coppers starting their shift is higher, so better to be on the road earlier.. Just be more alert and anticipate the traffic in front.. When u see lorries, slow down, cos one of them might overtake and sometimes they don't realize how fast you are coming from behind... And leave a few cars' length in between... Another thing is that if you anticipate slow cars on the left lane might cut into your lane, tap your brakes few times before you actually brake. This is to give signals to the cars behind to lift off and prepare to brake... Those who have followed me at high speed will probably notice me doing that before.. And on the way back, if you're using PLUS, observe the 90kph speed limit between Ayer keroh and Linggi. There have been countless roadblock in the past at Linggi to catch those who thot the speed limit is still 110kph... It can get pretty boring especially in the bimmer.. but bear with it for 20-30 mins.
