I've honestly never heard that...most private colleges/universities are chockful of nice cars as it is I can't see why or how they can derive conquest sales. I went to private, U of Miami and all the big marques were liberally represented. We had some automakers sponsor events like concerts (like mazda, honda and scion etc but never a hard sales drive to us.
