Dear All, I have recently recently received the above registered letter from JPJ asking me to come to JPJ with all documents, license, road tax, insurance etc. Offence stated in letter is: Memotong Garisan Kenderaan. Sounds very generic to me hence im wondering why the need to request me to be at JPJ. Have any of you received a similar letter? What happens is we don't go to JPJ? Will they blacklist? Appreciate your kind input and advice Many thanks in advance Romeo V12

Better go and find out, I reckon they'd go all out to get your RM. I wouldn't take the risk if I were you.

Gomen's desperate for RM recently and have been on many fund-raising drives.

Cheers,
seewai

Agreed, better go, find out and keep us updated..hope nothing so serious about it..good luck

I got this in 1999 - I was the sweeper for the E30 convoy coming back from Cherating using the old trunk road. The JPJ guy 'shot' me at the Jambatan Timbang Maran. Received a letter stating that I was doing 190kmh (really ? E30 M40 wor ..) and asked to bring my car to JPJ Kuantan for inspection.

Drove to Kuantan, met up with the officer - he checked my engine and noted it was as per the registration card. He let me go - no summon was issued. If only he check the crank :)

be careful yea... dont bribe... cause i heard a lot of the corruption ppl are in the JPJ offices....

dont try to be funny if you have nothing to hide...

Better go see them. One JPJ Officer told me if you go and everything is correct and in order, no saman. But if you don't go, sure kena saman.
