Like I said, I'm a total noob about this, just recently started getting very interested. Still in the research phase but I think I decided on what to get as a starter, the 17C. I haven't fired one yet but I've handled it and it feels pretty good in your hand and the weight is comfortable. Its suprisingly easy to purchase a gun in my state, you don't need a permit or waiting period, just an instant backgound check. You do need a concealed weapon permit to carry it around but its easier for a hobbyist like me to start off.
