Message: <blockquote data-quote="skinhead" data-source="post: 8773" data-attributes="member: 75"><p>installed the hid kit i bought recently on my e34.1/ pop up the engine hud and replace the plactic head lights cover. 2/ remove the socket connector from the headlamp rear cover housing3/ disconnect the 12v & gnd connector attached to the back of the headlamp housing4/once the headlamp rear cover housing is removed, get ur self a 1"-1 1/2" drill bit and drill the centre portion of the headlamp rear cover housing. this is for the hid kit as its come with a round rubber bush. 5/ insert all the connectors from the hid kit + ur hid bulb thru the hole u just drilled. i just ensure that the hole size is just enuff to pass thru the hid bulb.6/ secure the hid kit rubber bush into the hole, one half the the bush shud be inside/inserted while the other 1/2 is at the outside. this is to ensure the rubber bush is secured tightly. ive seen some dodgy installation done on few e30s and e34 by lousy so called expert. and they get paid for that too <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite5" alt=":confused:" title="Confused    :confused:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":confused:" />6/ the rest is just follow the hid kit instruction ie connecting all the wires 12v to 12 v gnd to gnd etc..  btw my kid doesnt come with any instruction manual, but if u know what ur doing u dont need them anyway.7/ the hid kit should comes with a bracket. where u wanna put them is up to ur creativity.8/ replace everything u removed.9/ most importantly, enjoy the hid!!! trust me, worth every penny i spent on it.installation should take less than 1 hr for both side.my hid kit comes with cable for cars the hv a bulb check indicator.  i dont use them since my car is old.u might want to get a white color parking light bulbs and foggies if u go for 6k-8k hid bulb if u care for what other ppl might say about the mixure of lights effect u hv on ur ride.  for me, i dont care as long as i can see betta in the dark with those hids. <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite6" alt=":cool:" title="Cool    :cool:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":cool:" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
