The stock unit always have special connector to suit stock amplifier and if you replace it with after market then the installer have to modify to suit stock amplifier. Thing get messy if there is after market amplifier involve.Insulation is very important when involve many cables  example like at the back of headunit. When you push head unit to fit into headunit slot, all the cables will touch each other at the back and this is where  it can leak without proper insulation.Headunit body also very good ground system.</blockquote>
