[QUOTE="Nik Mansor Mohamad, post: 246747, member: 8369"] bmw 7833... I've experienced same problem on both my E28 a year ago. Both my E28 a/c was serviced by Huat Huat Auto A/cond service centre, Jalan Ipoh,KL. The last job done was on 15/05/06. I went to three A/c shops in KL and Gombak prior to Huat Auto A/cond and all the 3 gave 3 different proposals. 2 of them said coil leaking and need to change and cost up to RM1300 to repair. Huat Auto checked my car A/cond and gave the estimate around RM220. The followings was done. Service cooling coil.....................RM65 2 bottles of compressor oil........RM48 S-D O-ring & oil.........................RM25 Labour service compressor........RM55 R-12 a/c gas..............................RM30 (mine using std gas type) ----------- Total RM223 per car ------------- (Cooling coil dismental & checked but no leak. So serviced and reassembled) His price might varies today but I dont think very much. Since your model is different from mine, you could try him out but get the estimates first B4 job is done.
