Ask mechanic to inspect main crank pulley to see its condition before buying parts to change. My car the main crank pulley tore and fell with a loud thud to the engine bay floor. Luckily only 3 minutes away from house. Could still drive and made it home but the steering became heavy like driving a bulldozer. Next day Jack my mechanic came to my house. Tow trucked to his workshop. That month lots of drama my 320d....used tow truck 3 times!Lucky got Allianz Road Warrior Plus cover! No limit to number of times can call tow truck and cover I think further distance than normal Road Warrior policy.</p></blockquote><p></p>
