[QUOTE="cg, post: 725994, member: 32276"] wanna check with my bros over in 320d as it is more happening here.... I got a e60 520d.... lately having brake issue whereby the brake pedal will be hardened (with engine running) after release and depress a few times. it will recover after you release the brake pedal for about 10secs. the nightmare will come again when you press the brake pedal and release again multiple time especially in traffic jam condition. when the brake pedal hardened, the brake is not effective. hardly can stop my fat car. the workshop found clean oil stain from the brake vacuum hose. the suspect problem with brake boaster and vacuum pump as diesel generate the vacuum different (petrol is from the manifold). wondering anyone faced such issue? what is the cost of replacing it?
