How are your 320d doing so far?

The engine does try self cleaning at the expense of performance and over time (esp when the car is seldom hard-driven), it clogs and becomes a very expensive component to replace. So, there, even Euro4 diesel does that to the DPF. Imagine what it could hv done for our cars with Euro 2M - it would have been clogged up by the first km (ok, this is an exaggeration). </p><p></p><p>For me, I am glad BMW Malaysia left it out and this has not only saved us the head-ache and our wallets, but they have also very smartly LOCALISED (and NOT detuned) the turbo diesels to work-around our industry shortcomings. So, if you have a gripe to pick, it's not the 320d or BMW - just vote wisely in the next general election. </p><p></p><p>And no, localisation is not a crime. For example, KFC's hot and spicy chicken variety is only available for malaysian tastebuds and not elsewhere.
